At Glebe Engineering inspection is the final part of our manufacturing process. To maintain a high standard we ensure that all of our components are rigorously inspected for precision and workmanship. Our CNC CMM machines allow us to measure components down to a few microns, making sure all the components leaving our factory are completed to a meticulous standard.

We use the latest CNC CMM machines and stress analysis software to measure our components to the highest level of accuracy. We operate a QCT Quantum 4 CNC CMM machine with a measuring travel of 615mm (X) by 650mm (Y) by 550mm (Z) and volumetric accuracy of 3.5 L/250µm. All of our CNC CMM machines have Renishaw probes and full 3D CAD capabilities. These machines are complemented by an extensive range of master gauges for threads, bores, splines and gears, as well as digital height gauges, digital micrometres, ultrasonic thickness checking and digital surface finish testing machines.

All of our components are subject to rigorous inspection with reports saved and backed up daily on our server.  Furthermore, as per ISO 9001 requirements, all certificates of conformity for material and sub-contract processes such as plating and coating can be supplied both in physical and digital forms. Before and after sending off any component, we make sure all products are meticulously inspected, measured and recorded for optimal efficiency.
